The Guardian Mountains, Home of the Payne Clan

The Guardian Mountains have been known to be home to the cruelest of creatures, mechanized Goblins and Dark Elves, as well as trolls and giants, but they are there no longer. The Payne Clan was born whenever William Senton found out his true lineage, and he united these 'barbarian' villages together under the Crest of the Azure Wolf, and drove these mechanized creatures out of the mountains.

All who are a member of this clan, are Christian, and serve the one true God. Though sometimes persecuted, the remain faithful. In a world where sometimes the kings are revered as gods, they must be strong and true to their faith.

Guardian and Stellius on one side, their mechanized foe on the other, forces of darkness in the wastelands to the south, and rebels to the north, the Payne Clan has no choice but to remain steadfast, unmovable, and not lose any ground to their enemies that surround them on all sides.
